Hublot reveals its Big Bang Broderie
by Aurélie C - 21/04/2015
With the launch of the Big Bang Broderie, Hublot strengthens its position on the lady’s fine watchmaking market. Thanks to its haute couture and technological details – as well as Bar Refaeli as a glamourous ambassador – this watch is to be reckoned with.
Hublot is making quite a sensation with its new Big Bang Broderie. Following its fusion principle, the Swiss brand combined a noble and couture by nature fabric with its high-tech watchmaking expertise. The result is remarkable.
Why is it remarkable? Because it epitomises a true mix of genres. Embroidery, both delicate and feminine, is made in the workshops of the Bischoff house in Saint Gall (Switzerland), following an ancestral savoir-faire. A symbol of Romanticism, it comes in the shape of floral arabesques on the strap and a skull pattern on the dial – which seems to never come out of fashion.
However, the watch is not just a pretty face, it is also a high-tech piece. Just look at the treatment of the elements embroidered on tulle mixed with carbon fibre – a unique and exclusive method for an astonishing result. And the distinctive allure of the watch should not make you forget about its 63 components. With a HUB1110 automatic mechanical movement (21 jewels), this timepiece has a 42-hour power reserve and 100 m water resistance. Three models are available: yellow gold diamonds (32,500 euros RRP), steel diamonds (16,200 euros RRP) and All Black diamonds (17,100 euros RRP).
And to showcase its new version of an iconic model, Hublot decided to change its communication strategy. The Swiss brand called on the top Bar Refaeli to become its first feminine ambassador. On the ads or on the red carpet, the beauty proves that the Big Bang Broderie is going well with the most sophisticated and sexy evening gowns.
