Ritals of Time
After two decades spent in the watchmaking industry, Manfred Brassler founded Meistersinger in 2001. For the name of his brand, he drew inspiration from XVth century and XVIth century German “master singers” – members of a guild whose talent and innovative spirit were admired.
The same year, the young German brand showcased its first collections in Baselworld and quickly stood out with their reinterpretation of the hand watch. Thus, the brand revived a centuries-old way of reading the time – the minutes hand only appeared during the middle of the XVIIIth century. As time seems to go by increasingly fast, Meistersinger watches provide a welcome breath of slowness.
Since its creation, this very same philosophy permeates all of the brand’s creations which encourage its owners to take things slowly and to enjoy their most beautiful moments to the fullest.
Today, Meistersinger sells in 29 countries and already received 13 design awards, while their headquarters are located in Germany and their timepieces are produced in Switzerland. Manfred Brassler is still at the helm of the brand and actively contributes to the models designing process.
